Same God
We stumble through life, our faith wavering,
our hearts heavy with doubt, and our minds
constantly questioning.
But one thing remains the same, for every man,
woman and child:
the promise of a loving God who has
always been there to guide us.
Even when we stray from His path,
He is never far away, watching over us with
a protective hand.
We may forget Him in times of joy,
when all seems right in the world,
but when sorrow strikes, we turn to Him,
seeking solace and strength.
He never changes, He is always there,
ready to offer a comforting embrace,
to wipe away our tears and ease our pain.
He is the thread that binds us together,
the light that shines in the darkness.
No matter who we are or what we believe,
we all share the same God.
