Samba of the Stars

It was so silent, thist most extraordiary Spring night!
I closed my sleepy eyes, on my outdoor, jade recliner.
Warm as the embrace of a beloved,summer’s, cuddly.night.
I was awakened by my Brazilian friend, with a gentle reminder.

“Life is no place for sleeping or weepng,you must live for today.!”
I so desired, to tell him, how very wrong his argument was!
But, I looked to my left, he had brought food and wine on a tray.
Comforting and joy, are gifts that only a good friend does!

After some reportage,he inquired of me, if music could I hear.
He continued… “in Brazil, we call it, the “Samba of the Stars”!i
My interest in his philosophy was most intensely piqued.
It was not long before Orion winked our way, my eyes ever set afar!

This is the last time I’ll see my doctor because he is retiring.. every time I saw him it was like a party, cracking jokes and listening to my horrible poetryl and he was able to understand my horrible comedy. And yes, he toold me I was his favorite patient.. go figure. He is the best doctor I had in 87 years.. and I don’t look forward to having another one because I don’t trust doctors He knew that when I met him, I told him all my scary experiences with other GPs.. I even interviewed him to see if he would meet up to my qualifications as a doctor and he did. Never once did he try to put any kind of junk in my bod. He know I wouldn’t do it.. but by law he has to ask and by , law I have a right and you do too to say NO. These past few days were really painful. This morning,, in a few hours I have to see him and I do not want to ssay goodbye! Pangie

I wonder what happened to two day in a row. I go on thursday to see her and find out what to do about this cough that hangs on.
