Salvation and Its Basis

SALVATION AND ITS BASIS I am not saved by feelings, For feelings are deceiving, The Word of God is what I trust, None else is worth believing . I am not saved by doing, But by a work that's done, For God accepts no other work, Than that of His dear Son. I am not saved by praying, Though prayer can helpful be, It's only when I make Christ Lord, That I from sin am free. I am not saved by ritual, Of dogmas, church or creed, For God in His great wisdom knew, New birth is what I need. I am not saved by people, Their visions or revelations, But only by an act of God, The Word calls 'regeneration' .
