Salvation and Glory to Our King
Salvation and Glory to Our King
Salvation and glory to our King,
Hear the songs His people bring.
Voices lifted, hearts ablaze,
Rising up in grateful praise.
Many came with songs so sweet,
Laying worship at His feet.
Singing of His matchless grace,
Of love no time can e’er erase.
Salvation, love, and adoration,
Heaven felt in every station.
As we bowed with humble hearts,
God poured blessings, set apart.
A sacred day, divinely given,
Where souls drew near the courts of heaven.
Grateful that we could stand once more
Before the One whom we adore.
Salvation and glory to our King—
How can we repay such a thing?
What words could ever truly say
For mercy shown along the way?
For when we stood condemned, unclean,
Bound by sin, undone, unseen—
He stepped in with mercy’s hand,
Rewrote our story, made us stand.
He cleansed our hearts, removed our shame,
And called us each by name.
He turned our darkness into light,
And clothed us in His righteousness bright.
He calms the storms that rage within,
Gives sight again to eyes once dim.
Makes sinners white as fallen snow,
Restores the soul, makes broken whole.
Yes, He is the One who can—
The Savior, Lord, the Son of Man.
To Him we lift our voice and sing:
Salvation and glory to our King!
Oh, what melody filled the air,
What awe and wonder lingered there.
We stood before our risen King,
The pain-taker of everything.
Way-maker through the darkest night,
Chain-breaker, our guiding light.
How can we thank Him for all He’s done?
The battles fought, the victories won?
Salvation and glory to our King—
Let every heart and anthem ring!
They came with music, rich and strong—
Guitar and trumpet joined the song.
Piano keys and voices raised,
Scripture read and lives amazed.
What a day of holy fire,
Hearts aligned with one desire—
To worship Christ, the risen King,
And let redemption’s anthem ring.
Salvation and glory to our King—
Even when no pastor stood,
The elder rose, as one who would
Lift the call for souls to see
The gift of grace so full and free.
Inviting all with earnest plea:
“Come receive salvation’s key—
Accept the King of kings today,
Let Him wash your sins away.”
Salvation and glory to our King!
We knelt in prayer on bended knee,
In sweet and sacred harmony.
Calling heaven’s open line—
A number free for all mankind.
No busy tone, no closed door found,
His grace flows freely all around.
Salvation and glory to our King—
Let every heart now rise and sing!
Praises rising, voices strong,
Heaven echoing our song.
From every tongue, from every land,
Lifted high at His command.
To our beautiful, risen King—
And soon returning, everything—
We cry with joy, let praises ring:
Salvation and glory to our King!
