Salvation

I was walking down a path of destruction

when i closed my eyes.

i bowed my head in shade of the sun.

the dust of the empty road blew in my face.

and my footprints were blown away without a trace.

where im from, washed away from my soul.

i re-opened my eyes; a whole new world to behold

the dirty path gone from my sight, and in view were flowers of all colors shining wet with dew.

the light from the now shining sun; so bright leading the way.

I now walk the path lead by the Son.

salvation was mine that day.
