Salvaged

In deep despair, where dreams are nightmares, I found myself, broken in spirit beyond repair. By grace, from the wreckage, I surfaced anew, In the heart of darkness, I received my rescue. I’ve been salvaged from the shadows so deep, Like a phoenix rising through a flaming heap. The trials and tribulations, they lit up my way, Through the tempest’s fury, as I bowed to pray. With each affliction, or scar, a lesson learned, In a baptism by fire, my fledgling faith burned. I’ve been salvaged, a survivor, strong and free, For in the shadow of death, I was shown a key. Now I soar on eagles wings, of love and grace, With a heart redeemed by His soothing embrace. I’ve been salvaged, and I will never be the same, Through the storms of life, His praise proclaim.
