Salute
Here on the verge of a new dawn,
Let joy emerge with break of morn.
Salute this day that comes to seed,
Let frolic play with love that feeds.
Come as cheer calls to each soul here,
Flesh can meet gall yet love with cheer.
Mind and heart know the pulse of zest,
Live well life's show with feisty fest.
Be who you are no matter how,
Love marks your star right here and now.
Dare to live bold with profound peace,
Be calm not cold and love with ease.
All in due time the journey ends,
Share thus your rhymes with chimes you tend.
