Salt Mixed With Water

Embraced by misery
Salt mixed with water flowed from her soul
As love turned it’s back once more
She had to face a lonely day
As she realized he had gone away

Flowing from her soul were drops of salt mixed with water
Withering down her saddened face
Gathering puddles, rivers formed around her
And
The sorrow coming from within broke the barrier sound
Intertwined was pain and loss as she watched
As love was lost
