Salle's Pet

Sallee had a pet on the farm, It was a snow-white ewe; That’s what they call girl sheep, you know; But, of course, you already knew. Sallee gave her pet a name; Olive seemed to fit her just right. Sally and that pet of hers Really were so tight. Olive followed Sallee As she did her chores throughout the day; Then would wander off to grazing In the fields not far away. When night would fall on Farmville All the boys would listen real close To hear the voice of this pretty girl Shouting the words they liked the most. “Olive Ewe – come home to me.” “Where are you – Olive Ewe?” “Olive Ewe – I’m waiting here.” “Come to bed with me – Olive Ewe.”
