Sails Torn

Sails torn

Grasped and rent
in the storm
from the ashes
to be reborn
...
We burst
A new and see
The trust we trust
Quenches our thirst

Your breeze, heaven sent
In the strong a fire burn
No flashes
An uninviting storm

We thirst
To truly be
In ourselves
Seeking trust

I have, there, I went
Lowly borne
Hoping to pass
Avoiding the storm.
