Sailor Sailed
In the deep blueish ocean,
you can be overcome by emotion.
All around you there is no land.
What you wouldn't give to touch the sand.
Just you and the wind called gale.
Comforting each other while you sail.
Waves crashing in while they pound.
It would be nice to put your feet on solid ground.
Watching the sunset over the waves crest.
The sea is welcoming, you feel blessed.
You are tired, but you will rest soon
Now you have to greet the monsoon.
As you see the lightening lights up the sky.
You think back and remember no one said goodbye.
Everyone sees him for his mistakes.
But he is the one they forsake.
He knew his small boat wouldn't last out here.
So he lets out, one final tear.
As the waves increase in size.
He looks forward and smiles, meeting his demise.
