Sailing Towards Romblon

Eagerly we wait,- As early as the sun mount,- At the harbor’s plank. After a short while… We heard the Ferry’s hail And shouted us, to come up!- With our kits and bags! While on the ship… I look down and wave. Then some men unknot the rope; Ready now to cruise. I and my buddies- Walk around and watch the sea, Here at the yacht’s ridge. You know what?... Midway of the sea, Dolphins jumping, one by one,- Then hurriedly plunged. I exclaimed and said: “Oh! What a wonderful sight! What a wonderful God! His creations declare- The brilliance of His wisdom And his love to man.” The night falls… The moon appears and- Its light creates a crystal- Sea in the calm night. But suddenly… Waves beneath, disturb And cause me headache, as we’re- Approaching Romblon. Feeling as if the- Ship is sinking, I quietly- Prayed, I really begged. Then I asked myself: “How everything come to pass? Does He always will?” But at last!… The dawn sets again. And seems to utter its over; Sunbeams gladly glare. I saw friends rushing, Getting their bags, moving down From the Ferry’s lodge. And then… At the harbor’s coast,- A man approached us, saying; “Welcome to Romblon!”
