Sage Bird

There once was a yellow canary sage,
Who trapped a naughty cat in a cage.
With feathers so bright,
It plotted all night,
Till the cat escaped and ate it in rage.

Brilliant limerick! I love the way youv woven this and the rhymes and also especially the ending “ With feathers so bright, It plotted all night, Till the cat escaped and ate it in rage.“ excellent! And fun! Fits the picture prompt perfectly! Best wishes for the contest
