Safe With Me

I’ve
Never been
This scared.

These feelings
That my body reacts to
Before I am ready.

I feel 
Raw
Exposed
Rare.
 
This complication
You face
I hurt 
I pray
But I just want to 
Embrace you
Taste you
All of you.

Your joy
And your pain
That you keep hidden
In that stunning brain
In that fearful heart of yours.
I just want to take a look
I promise I won’t break it.

No matter what you may believe,
You are safe with me. 
Stay with me,
Lay with me.
I can promise you all of me,
If you take a leap,
You must believe in me too.

I will
Be here for you,
Help heal you,
Love you.

Because like I said,
You are safe with me.
