Safe On the Ark

Thunder rumbled And the heavens grew dark. Noah herded the animals Into the ark. From aardvarks to zebras, From wildebeests to bats, There were field mice and rabbits And great jungle cats. There were elephants and rhinos. There were cattle and sheep. There were creatures that wiggle. There were creatures that creep. But the favorite creatures, In God's loving eyes, Were Mrs. Noah and Noah, Their three sons and their wives.
