Safe and Sound
Fear tried desperately to take control,
But my heart never gave up, I never let go,
Whenever I had the strength to drop down the guard,
Like lightning in a storm, God saw my heart,
Cutting through clouds of darkness, striking my soul,
Piercing through every barrier in order to know,
My heart would stay hidden, in His presence safe and sound,
Until He gave me the strength in my heart to speak out.
