Safe

The way she sleeks through the spent waves
like a snake slithering within petrol slipped rainbow puddle
hypnotical the pull of her pools
moonbows supplicate before they echo in her depths
The sheen that meanders on her water defying suppleness
but lies in a pupil
safe
