Safari Journal

I expected an ant,
something more scant.
Who knew this field
would yield
an elephant?

I admit my heart sunk
when he opened his trunk,
my credulity tested,
when he requested
dibs on the top bunk.

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. I don't who's more full of bunk at this point, you or me! ~ Al Eh Fant (P.S. OMG! Please check out my response to your recent comment about visiting Chicago in 1988. It's under my poem on the Sox and Cubs).
