Sadness In Delight

Somewhere along the way
Lies sadness in delight
Inside of, alive within
Not to ever really tell
Why my path led me here
But I remember arriving
Night lived much longer
Than daylight breathing
Darkness sprang to life
The sun eased its grasp
Commotion now subsiding
Resting as a moon glows
