Sadness

Poet: Ken Jordan
Poem: Sadness
Edited by: Sparkle Jordan
written: November/2013

There's
a sadness
in this poem,

that reminds me
of,
John Whelan's
song,
Lament For Heather,
(1998) -

Once
you hear
this song,

then
you'll know
this poem -

There's
a sadness
around
the world,
as
it turns -

Natural
and
Unnatural
disasters;

destruction
everywhere -

Madness
corruption,
and
confusion,

shadows
this earth,
like the
dark side
of
the moon -

Throughout
the
world

their are
wars
and
rumours
of
wars,

controlling
how we
live -

So much
negative
activity,
upon
the land -

Theirs
a sadness
in this
poem -
