Sadness

Again we go back to the beginning,
And again everything is the same as it was yesterday.
I keep forgetting you little by little
I spend all my evenings alone.

We've crossed that line again,
What did they draw with you then?
I'll erase it forever today,
We misinterpreted it.

My hands are stained with ink,
I'm tired of writing you confessions.
You know, nobody replaced you
I'm still haunted by memories.

My eyes see what is not there
The heart desires the irrevocable.
I see the parade of planets again,
And no one can prove me wrong.

I can feel you even through the void,
You glow like a flashlight.
Your image preserves its former beauty,
Although you are only my messenger.

But your voice has become an echo in the void,
And we won't see each other any more.
I wander more and more alone in the dark,
And I am saddened by such a heavy share.
