Sad Violin Tunes

A soft breeze teases
The spider’s web plays
Sad violin tunes
An eerie silence
Accompanying
Its Phantom of the Opera
Deviousness
The strings vibrate
With a musician’s need
To reach, to touch
An unseen Audience

Hmm. Had always conceived of a spider's web as a harp. I guess I've been a lyre all these years. lol. Nice write, John! Thanks, Gershon

Hi John, I especially like the latter lines, "to reach, to touch, an unseen audience." Best of luck in your contest. Enjoyed it.

I enjoyed reading your lovely yet sad write. Violins have so many different sounds. "Good Luck" We both did this one. Have a wonderful/blessed day..........
