Sad Tiger Lily

In the garden there was a tiger lily, sad.
Faeries and elves gave her a sparkling “hi!”
She had the worst mood floral ever had.
She answered them with a dour forlorn sigh.
Tulips asked the roses and zinnias why
Well maybe her optimism is dead
Because a giant accidentally stepped on her head.

I suppose that could happen...sure enough, from the neighboring flower's perspective. Everyone knows a giant can't stay on the path!
