Sad Surprise

Blindsided with eyes wide opened
Emotions stirred by a dance that
Caused my lips to speak unwisely
Just one lust-filled dance,
And John lost his head

Shocked, troubled in soul
Never saw it coming and
Had no plans of execution

Bound by my own words,
There was no way out.
Surprised by my own family,
Sadness filled my sick soul.
