Sad Song

She plays my heart strings so beautifully I didn't even notice that she was playing a sad song

As I poured out my heart again only for it to be spilled into an abyss

You didn’t want my heart you only wanted my attention

Had me standing at attention waiting for your next call only to miss it before the last ring every time

p.s. I always loved sad songs, a hopeless romantic addicted to the pain…
