Sad Picture
"Hello, my friends! I am finally back!"
- I said, right before noticing that everyone's wearing black,
Standing near a coffin. "Who's in there?", I asked.
"Oh, so many," - one guy answered, - "A guy, whose face was masked.
With him also went away the good times, when everyone was at peace,
His trust to others, which turned out to be a false bliss,
The respect for his friends, who, by conflicts, broke his very soul,
And most of the people he loved, the ones who made him whole".
Truly a sad picture to look at, I've got to say!
Not to mention his mind was very dark on his life's last day;
But nobody cared. We live in a world full of heartless savages!
The world where kindness dies and hate ravages...
I thought I could learn to love humanity. Guess I was wrong.
I wonder why I still care for it, even after so long?
I'll probably never know, but if making difference wasn't an impossible task,
I'd jump right into doing it, no questions asked.
