Sad News

On a cool fall day took a walk to find out
What would be my fate?
As I sit on a paper covered bed
Waiting for the white coat man to come in
And read the results of my test
As I hold my breath and let go

At the end of his speech a tear drop falls
From the news that hit me like a ton of bricks
Not lifted
A rush of thoughts as of what to do
Fell over me drowning my every thought
For the next few months

On that cool fall day
And rest of my days to come
Are going to be the rough’s toughs
Days of my life
With love and support and my
Heavenly father I will prevail

On that cool fall day
It was reviled I have to fight
To see the light at the end of my long
Struggle
