Sad in Blue—For You and This Moon
Sad in blue—for you lost in melancholy and deep night,
The moon is all blue tonight—color of endless longing and loneliness,
The night is all dark outside—no place to run from this shadow,
Sad in blue—for you who cry in silence under the cold and empty sky.
In the night hold me tight—love me dear I need a little warm light,
What's wrong and what's right when shadows dwell and settle over us,
Sad in blue—for you who tremble with cold and fear in this darkness,
The moon is all blue tonight—is there a falling star on the horizon to wish upon?
For you—in the night take flight far from pain and from all that weighs you down,
Feelings, touch—everything disappears from view like a dream that evaporates magically,
Love me with feelings—come come dear closer to stay beside me,
Sad in blue—for you sad beneath this sky without hope.
The moon is all blue tonight—is there a falling star to save us both,
To pull us out of this blue sadness that swallows us completely and won't let go,
For you—hold me tight in your warm arms and don't let me fall,
In this dark night where the moon cries blue over our souls.
Sad in blue—but at least we're together under the same gentle and cold moon,
Even if everything is darkness outside—even if there's no place where we can run far away,
Love me in melancholy—love me in this blue and magical deep sadness,
Because together we can transform the sad blue into something that shines softly always.
