Sacrifice's Remnants

As said to be,
Sacrifice
Creates the life of thee, by
One’s commitment and empathy, and by
One’s true loyalty,

Though not true, for sacrifice
Has lost its significance…gone…
Only these residues remain,
The carelessness of thee;
The betrayal and treachery…

Between the arms of unfaithfulness
It lay, ruptured by thy infidelity…
The world’s and people’s
Disloyalty…

Bare the remorse of what
Thy hands' triggered, and
Watch the world’s value
Dwindle before your
Eyes… seek the remnants
Of sacrifice…
