Brushed cheeks blushing from the red of many suns released to plucking fingers from the garden of sustaining gifts: tomatoes: green, gold, or red. Saved beyond the reach of frost, tenderly fed and tended by the sun of summers’ passing. a shared flesh, rejoicing in the bearing of life both given and received. whose only purpose is a gift. we give ourselves found in the many definitions of our love.
