Sacrifice

Plethora of dreams,
And
Plethora of ambitions;
Now,
Planning for the future ahead,
Progressing in every facet,
Accomplishing little by little,
Marvelous is the journey;

Days pass by,
Few finished and a few stay put.
Crossing barricades,
And a few more concluded.

Almost reaching the firmament,
Waiting for those moments
Of joy and satisfaction
In accomplishing dreams,

Just then,
A choice of different path,
Is what is in amassing?

Dreams near yet far,
In distress,
But yet
A smile persists
“Sacrifice” is the word
That takes you far ahead
For the ones who mean the world to you.

Dreams and ambition,
Just as it was,
Will stay within me
Forever till…

….
I meet someone
With similar ideas and similar thoughts;

Still waiting….
Still waiting….
Still waiting….

I say hold on,Anjana! Wait, because if you settle when that someone comes along-and I know what I'm talking about, he will-he may not have all the superficial attributes we all want-but he'll have the exact things you desire-you may be tied down! Peace and love, Audrey Happy New Year!
