Sacrifice
True love cannot be denied
Even if it is unrequited
True love cannot be denied
Even when another cannot reciprocate
To find true love belongs to another
And time will not lessen the pain any further
One single act of pure motivation
Meant to show one's total devotion
Whether the act be simple
Time and space as found in a temple
Giving the gift of pure blessedness
Sacrificing life for anothers happiness
Wanting to make someone's life better
No matter through what kind of gesture
So let not this act go unforgotten
For through this act
Our love was truly begotten
