Sacred Petals
when I touched the sacred petals
that came out of the oceans of
love and honey-a rainbow heartprint
shimmered in my hand-
I lifted it up with tenderness-because
it reminded me of my parents
who said their prayers and
discovered the hymn that
united them in love and family-
Now
holding the petals which sheltered
them-I feel their divine heart prints
walking through my life-California blue
