Sacred Love

Why live without the love of my girl
An examination romtic poets are asked
With guile in a sonnet they will unfurl
Their ambition the truth remains masked
Ancient wisdoms whispered by the wise
Around the fire and sacred holly smoke
Generations of shamans disguise
The secrets of love which were spoke
Lover suspicious of heart felt feelings
Employs an age old philosophy
Desire for resolution of these dealings
Seeks a modern sage for prophesy
Mind sated the lover has his answer
Forever obscured like the cure for cancer
