Notes About The Poem

Sacred Heart Flame

The pain we endure, surely has a cure, in Christ flame bespoke, which we may invoke. Prayer resolute, each breath a tribute, burns every desire, in the threefold fire. The in-between stage, is where dwells the sage, void of no-thingness, entwined with oneness. Waves that come and go, we touch and forgo, consumed in the flame, where focused’s our aim. 22-June-2022

I studied a bit on this form. Not supposed to be easy in its context. You did well.

I like this form, use it quite often too now, mostly the 5 syllable per line version, sometimes the 7 syllable per line. Give it a shot, Victor :)
