Sacred Dream

He had never seen the daylight Grew up in a profound pit The darkness gripped him so tight He didn’t wish to live under a bright light He reaches the age of independence He runs through the darkness to the exit Stands before the unbreakable gate A fear of freedom, unease at the bright light Butterflies fly in and out of the gate Carrying his dreams, which are sacred Love is the key to open the gate Which he’s never experienced yet
