Sacred

i invite within serenity
hum the sutra mantra
beckon sacred sanskrit roots
poised for chant and ritual

begin esoteric yoga
the soulful breathing in
of precious silence
awareness of universal energy

calm mindfulness awakening
aspirations of enlightenment
delve into zen meditation
in the shadow of a millennia

calling on all masters
who ever graced the world’s
monasteries and temples
seeking wisdom by osmosis
