S Is For Sadness
A Poem For Children
When you are sad
the birds often seem glad,
but you must not mind that.
They will be watching
to see you smile.
Everyone's sad once in a while...
We can be sad
when a pet bird dies.
If they say we don't, they tell us lies.
Sadness is inside
from time to time...
We all feel it... It comes like the tide.
Cats and doggies will be watching
to see your big smile.
(Everyone's sad once in a while.)
