Russian To Judgement
Once again, we feel the suffering, as war spreads
Its poison, to kill and overtake.
While much of the world seeks to separate,
From an aggressor seeking unity through heartache.
The two combatants couldn't be further apart,
When it comes to beliefs & independence to be.
All but guaranteeing a long and bloody conflict,
Where neither really wins, it's just a tragedy.
If modern history has taught us anything, it's that
Regardless of size or armament, the bigger can often fall.
Hence this fact should weigh heavily on those,
Contemplating any attacks against the small.
This reasoning is often validated by the reality, that
The conflict really is about the need for resources.
And that the many battles to be fought, tend to
Be reinforced by those mighty air forces.
Yet we've seen the battlefields change dramatically,
From the ground and skies, to economics & dollars involved.
Where both bullets and bankruptcies can defeat the most
Powerful, leaving the vanquished weakened and dissolved.
