Rushing Current
It started with a simple sail
Ever so gently I made my way around every
Snap crack and pop life's stream had to throw at me
But I've been getting tired
O so wiry
And now I think I'm lost in the flow of life
The stream picks up speed and smashes me along the walls of my consequences
Pulling me under the influence of my peers
Forcing it's cruel sinful delight right over me until
I'm one with the riverbed
And I think I see my future..
Stuck at rock bottom, I welcome my new home
As life erodes away my innocents
Left empty inside, I cry
As I cave in on myself
I never expected to be in this position
But then again nobody ever does
I'm just one step closer to being some one I don't know
