Rush Passed
Rush Passed
Don’t see
what is happening,
keep moving.
Don’t look,
you will have to stop.
You always do.
I am not in a hurry,
I want to see.
what exactly the world
has done to me.
I am homeless,
but I had a home.
I am on the streets,
because there is someone else,
in my bed.
I made bad mistakes,
and I am sorry.
Hurry now…
Don’t look.
Keep moving.
Peer at your license.
Remember the faces
of your children.
Try to recall the last words,
your boss said,
as you left?
Why does no one
want to speak,
to the me,
I have become?
The me…
I was…
is so lonely.
Help.
