Running With the Devil

Some people think running with the devil is fun
He is very clever and soon you will be done
You will never, never out wit him on you own
On his level, he is the devil very clever.

He gives you a dime and keep on lying
You don’t realize that you are dying
He comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy
Like the ancient city of Troy
The Trojan horse is empty within
Cover with all its ancient sin.

Believe the Bible it’s real
It’s near and in time you will feel it’s fear
He gives you his toys and steal your soul
soon you will become very old and cold
His plan begin to unfold.

But God has sent His Son to the wasteland
Where His plan begin to unfold
He wrote His name in the sand of time
With the Mediator in His elevator
The Creator lifting you up from dust, rust
And the curse of time
Serving Him you must do on your own
Not running with the devil no more
With God’s plan in your hand.
