Running On Home

When the days of stress are here
and I just feel alone
I wish to go where my heart feels free
running through the fields in the country
Looking for frogs in a little creek
climbing a tree feeling like no one can see me
Running off and hiding in the hay loft
like it's my own secret hide out
Knowing all the little critters that lay below
are trusting me and run to the sound of my voice
Spending their days with me
Reminding myself that I'm not alone
seeing everything I have around me
and at the end of the day
running home to my cowboy
