Running My Own Path
I have traveled on this path for so long
My heart is on my sleeve
Is that so wrong
Many things have been said
Many things have been done
I must never stop
For I have not won
Not at this moment
Not at this time
Happiness I search for
And someday I will find
That person I love
The right one for me
I will never give up
As long as I can still see
But all the decisions I've made
Their nature is to haunt
I will try my best to resist
Even though some of them I will miss
They chase me down the road I am on
But what they don't know is I will outrun...
