Running Life Away
Running Life Away
We run around in this race
This race we run around
Around this race we run
This rat race in our town
We run uphill then run down
Then we run circles around
Around the town then back up
Covering every inch of ground
We run ourselves, we run our kids
We run every single chance we get
Running for this, running for that
So much running but we're still unfit
We run errands, we run to the store
We run our mouths even more
Across sand beaches to distant shores
Sometimes on two feet, others on all fours
Why is it that we run so much
Why is the world in such a hurry
Why can't we just relax a bit
Why is it we all have to worry
Life is good...
Everything will be just fine...
