Running Free

Just imagine as you close your eyes,
The way life would be.
If there were no lies,
And we all were very happy.
A life of no despise,
Would be so pleasant and carefree.
A life with this disguise,
Is something we can not guarantee.
There will still be goodbyes,
We can not foresee.
Along with days of surmise,
To balance the occasional spree.
We continue to search the skies,
For answers we can not see.
We even improvise,
Just to try to obtain a bit of glee.
So it is no surprise,
That we wish we could be running free.

What a wonderful life, a great vision! Your words are wonderful and flow smoothly with terrific rhyme. Very well expressed and written. Michael
