Running Away

I can be your escape,
Your salvation,
That one moment that takes you away
From the life you wish you didn't live.
Runaway with me, just for a moment,
Far away from the hopelessness that drags you down.
Take my hand, close your eyes
I will lead you to paradise
Where the sun always shines
And all you know is ecstasy.

Ashley, Ride on ... that i find in the enfant terrible, the poet or poetess of all times ... you've just given me the pix of John Keats ... Samuel Taylor Coleridge ... Lord Byron ... even yourself ... don't say "and you too"! Cheers! Canny.
