Running Away

Did you ever feel like running away
From the place you stay
Having a rest
To be at your best

Put on a new identity
From which to choose there is plenty
You could hide behind this
That thought lets not dismiss

Where to go
Its hard to know
What to choose
Ideas a plenty
Suggestion box is certainly not empty

Create new memories
Try new things
Have some fun
All this while on the run

Do I go
Do I stay
In truth all of us everyday
Run away
In our heads or physically
It can be hours or momentarily

Sometimes we just need the break from reality
To recharge our battery
