Running
I’ve been running away,
Away from my fears,
My past,
My mistakes.
Running
Toward the end,
My final hours,
Speeding through life.
Running
A new direction,
An ending point,
A safer place.
Running
Now I see,
Why I’m running!
To get where I need to be
Running
To start my life
Running
To get to you!
