Run Into Your Future

Run into your future, without fear my soul,
March towards that stone arched door, my soul.
Don’t worry for a thing, it shall open wide,
Roll it up where yesterday's slavery reside.

New pathways, for tomorrow’s freedom shall flow,
Where the shackles of old no longer grow.
Rejoice, for the east winds fiercely blow,
Turning a mourning melody into a dancer’s glow.

Gathering are rain clouds, poignant with grace,
Washing away sorrows, leaving no trace.
For in the days ahead, you shall reign,
In health and wealth, a new level to attain.

So run, dear soul, with purpose and might,
Embrace the future, bathed in Son’s golden light.
Let praise and worship be your warring flame,
And heaven will know and remember your name.
